International trails day is celebrated on the first Saturday in June. Trail groups throughout Alberta will be busy working on trail care needs such as trail clean-ups, maintenance and getting trails in shape. It’s also a great time to acknowledge your volunteers.

This year check out the River Valley Alliance (RVA) and visit Edmonton, AB: Amisk Wacîw Mêskanaw Trail (Beaver Hill Road Trail) on trails day. RVA plans to have information booths, a BBQ, and an RVA led trail walk starting at 10:00am . This will be a wonderful opportunity to come together and celebrate trails. This event is in collaboration with the Trans Canada Trail.
